As Cubism continued the deconstruction of forms into the abstract, the original forms always seemed to be still present as “ghosts”.  As Futurism (in this case the Blue Rider School) transcended into the abstract the original forms blurred into non-recognition due to evolution of movement.  In other words as the form is depicted as moving in space the total of each moment’s change is captured and combined as if everything is happening at once…thus creating a new form caught in continuous movement.
The most famous example of this “continuous form” is found in Duchamp’s “Nude descending a Staircase”.
